Logan/Mingo Readiness Center

In November 2015, the West Virginia Army National Guard officially opened this state of the art 48,000 square foot Readiness Center, situated on 20 acres, which splits the Logan and Mingo County line at the Wood Products Industrial Park.  The new center consolidates both the Logan and Mingo County Armories which were deficient and unfit for rehabilitation or expansion.  The new Readiness Center now houses the 150th Armored Reconnaissance Squadron and the 156th MP Detachment, employing approximately 35 soldiers and military personnel.
